Is a full time music teacher for the town of Derry, NH where she has taught for 20 years. She has been a public school teacher in NH, since 1995. She has taught Strings, Band, Chorus, and General Music through all the grade levels. She served as a trumpet player and conductor for the 39th Army Band, New Hampshire Army National Guard, where she attained the rank of Sergeant. Linda has taught music lessons since 1990 in varied locations, including SYMS, Ted Herbert's Music Mart, East Derry School of Music, and Let's Play Music. Linda received her Bachelor's degree in Music Education at the University of New Hampshire in 1995, where she earned a fellowship and received her Master's degree in Integrated Arts in Education at Plymouth State University in 2005. Linda has received The Middle Level Educator Award from the NH Middle Level Educator's Associaton in 2008, An Exceptional Educator Award from the NH Fisher Cats and the Department of Education in 2010, and was chosen as Educator of the Year by the Derry, NH VFW Post for the 2009/2010 schoolyear.
